1. What Graft is

Graft is a service where you build prompts with the help of an AI assistant ("Sprout", built on Anthropic's Claude), then optionally save them, remix other people's prompts, and ask for or offer help through the Feed. By using Graft, you agree to these terms.

2. Your account

You need an account to save prompts, fork, post to the Feed, or use Sprout. You're responsible for what happens under your account, and for keeping your password reasonably safe. You must be at least 18 years old to use Graft.

3. Content you create

Prompts you save are attributed to your username and are public by default — that includes the prompt text, its lineage (forks and who made them), and any Feed posts about it. That's the whole point of Graft: prompts are meant to be seen, forked, and improved by other people.

You keep ownership of what you write. By saving a prompt or posting to the Feed, you give other Graft users permission to fork it, and you give Graft permission to display, store, and distribute it as part of running the service. Don't post anything you don't have the right to share, or anything illegal, harassing, or intended to deceive.

4. Sprout and AI-generated content

Sprout is powered by Claude (Anthropic). The prompts it helps you write are AI-generated based on what you tell it — review them before you use them elsewhere, the same way you'd review anything an AI writes. Graft doesn't guarantee Sprout's output is accurate, appropriate for every use, or free of errors.

5. Free plan and Cultivator subscription

Every account gets a monthly allowance of completed Sprout prompts for free, forever. Saving, forking, the Feed, and reputation are unlimited for everyone regardless of plan.

Cultivator is a paid subscription that removes Sprout's monthly cap, billed monthly or yearly through Stripe. You can cancel anytime; your Cultivator access continues until the end of the period you already paid for. Prices are shown on the pricing page and may change with notice.

6. Acceptable use

Don't use Graft to generate or share illegal content, spam, malware, or anything meant to harass or deceive real people. Don't try to abuse Sprout's free-usage limits through automation or multiple accounts. We can suspend or remove accounts that violate these terms.

7. No warranty

Graft is provided "as is." We do our best to keep it running and your data safe, but we don't guarantee the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for any particular purpose.

8. Changes

We may update these terms as Graft grows. If we make a meaningful change, we'll do our best to let you know before it takes effect.
